Private session:

1. some great ideas for a warmup i.e. starting easy is fine, no need to copy anyone else and that touch it makes a great warmup--Try gets to move her feet as much as she wants and feel really successful.

2. Circling game: Try has been hugging my side to avoid this game. Kelly had me go back online where I found that I have not been getting the bend thru the ribs I need for Try to be on the circle and therefor in mental contact with me.

3. Respect: I have been gradually losing respect as I've tried to keep Try happy so she will do liberty tasks and have been having trouble with any of the tasks that require much movement (LBI)--she takes off and has a temper tantrum when I ask for more than she want to give. SOOOOO time for me to take back the leadership--and if she wants to leave then she can do so on the circle until she asks to come in (and that this is ok to do especially if this is a left brain thing). Susan or Sara are loading me their copy of the Catch Me game to help.

4. Also Yoyo, drive and draw need to be reestabllished

5. Figure 8: isolate and separate--just do one circle at a time.

Oct 13 update

Warmup: see session w/Linda from lakeland or Kelly--warmsup online--belly rope on the ground. remember to relax dwell between stuff. Soft, how light is light but effective phase as needed. Balance drive and draw.

Mon task oriented

Today, in the mood to get liberty done, I was really task oriented and I could see that on the video. Also I could see Try's reaction, which then made extra work for me to get results.

Sat Sep 26

Round pen is set up in paddock. Camera mounted on car--covers most of the area. We have filmed numerous times.

Plan:
1. figure 8
2. pedestal and extreme friendly
3. sideways to and fro 3 barrels
4. lead by hocks and tail
5. stick to me
6. circling game

Plan: set up round pen and place for camera--each time we play film until we get the 6 tasks pretty good in less than 10 minutes.

1. Yes yoyo and stick to me can be the same game. Yoyo important to show equal amounts of to and fro. (note as games 4-7 are built on games 1-3, it is possible to combine games)
2. Squeeze alternative: send allow bring back way of going—maybe over cavalettis and turn and face??
3. Or squeeze between you and fence,stop turn and face
4. Teaching spin: drive zone 1, spin on HQ, use circling game and back up (like back/toward to change direction) then instead of change of direction keepin sending zone 1.
5. Circling game: imp to stay neutral don’t have to who 6 laps
